Most people only need about seven to eight hours of sleep per night in order to stay healthy, aware and operate well in their day to day lifestyles. I am therefore involved that I need to have anything from 12 to 15 hours sleep per night. This prompted me to appear into the problem further, and try to come up with a list of reasons why an individual human might need so much more sleep than another.
