I must try

In June 1985, 2 British mountaineers Joe Simpson and Simon Yates made the 1st-ever climb of the West Face of the 21,000 foot snow-covered Siula Grande hill in Peru. It was an extremely tough assault – but practically nothing in comparison to what was to come. Early in the nice, Simpson fell and broke his right knee. Yates could have discontinued him but managed to find a way of decreasing him down the hill in a series of challenging drops blinded by snow and cold.
