Is Competition is killing you!
In a latest conference with a group of salesmen I asked the concern what’s the hardest hurdle in your market today. I got a wide range of answers, but the one that I discovered most unpleasant was the one over. This individual clearly considers that his solutions are the same as his opponents, and is failing to find a way to differentiate his company from its opponents. When I went around the desk and asked other salesmen if their company offers anything more in the way of value than their opponents, I got a definite yes, and a list of variations! So the next obvious question for the salesperson was if that’s true, did the prospect know this? Feeling a bit trapped he said “yes, of course I tried to explain all these things to the prospect but he was targeted on price”.
My intuition tells me that this may not have been accurate, and that I put the salesman on the spot. The reputation of this organization is without question and the alternatives they have provided for over a 40 year span to their market says volumes about their ability to bring added value to their customers.
The truth is this individual just isn’t getting the concept across to the prospect. And the potential reason is because he doesn’t believe it himself. Of course the probability is cost conscious, but it’s been my encounter that in general, people are more value aware than cost-conscious.
It’s not clear to me that this salesman is well prepared or qualifying his prospects to see if his company’s strength’s will match up to what the prospect really wants to accomplish. Price is the obvious place for a prospect to start. Good salesmen know that being ready to show a prospect how they can offer real value, meet their goals, and show they are the best company to meet their real needs is crucial to removing the low price issue. It’s been my experience that people are willing to pay for high quality service and products if that’s what meets their needs.
As a good salesman, studying how to get a client or prospect to open up and tell you what they really want to accomplish is an important skill in getting past the price issue. We all know including the prospect that hardly ever is the lowest priced company the best company.

Just like any other full of energy, optimistic Indian lad of 21, I too was fairly eager to become a self-dependent guy. Usually, Indian parents do not want their child to start performing for a private limited organization in such age, but still I asked for them to allow me to go and find a place to work. I had finished my graduation in the month of July 2005. But, it took me about seven-eight months to persuade them to let me join a company.
After their nod, I shifted in with my elder brother in Lucknow, the state capital of UP. After a few initiatives, I was chosen as a Back Office Customer Assistance Executive with Hutch International, a telecom giant of that decade. It was when I began monitoring people around me.
At present, I am a business content writer with an IT company in New Delhi. All over my journey, I have organized with myriad of people at different workplaces. Some of them were remarkable, while there were many others, who tried to put me down, and turned the reason of my leaving the company. There were also a variety of people, who motivated me a lot and made me learn numerous techniques of business and life.
Types of Us, the people, the Indians at Office
Sycophants - Every organization or company, all over the world, has such people. These flatterers are glib liars and appeasers, who willingly try to please their seniors and managers, and even the owners of the company. Such scary, even if they are senior in age and experience, act as if they are the slaves of the company. If I degrade the level of the article, please pardon me for that, they cook up things like real sluts. They suggest new rules and leave policies, they work dedicate even in the odd hours only to show their loyalty, and they spread rumors and backbite their co-workers before the boss or the owners of the organization. They do so just to earn the good reputation of the employer and to secure their job. Generally, they want to control the rest of the employees with their fake symbolism and impact on the employer.
Loners - This genre of the workers is not very much fascinated in trivia. They are busy with the work allocated to them, and are one of the loyal members of the staff. They are always on time, whether coming or leaving the office. Even if they have a new idea, which could improve the business capital of the company, they will not dare to say, because they are not being paid for that. Most of the Indian employees belong to this wide range of workers. They are excellent thinkers, and full of idea. But, they do not try to give new ideas to the organization because of their insufficient salary. Loners like to keep quiet and stay calm.
Friends - Usually, people working on same work profile or sitting next to become close buddies, and most of the times, BFFs, best friends forever. They care for each other, and keep in contact, even after departing the company. Moreover, they often, become so close that they plan to leave the company, and work for a different better organization ‘together’.
Hardcore Experts- Hardcore experts never break any ‘rules and regulations’ of the organization, they work in. They do not get engaged in the office politics, and are usually targeted towards their work.
Opportunists - These are the workers, who work just to earn the money, not the information. While working, most of the times, you are including some set of skills in your bio-data. An opportunist worker believes in learning and moving forward. Their life-span, at the company, is by and large very small. They are not interested in working with the same organization for longer period of time. Routines to Set for BIG Success in 2014The excellent news about being a biz owner is you get to set your own routine. And the bad news? You get to set your own routine. If you’re like most business owners, no one trained you what effective routines you should be integrating into the day-to-day operating of your biz. Instead, you brought whatever working habits you discovered at either your last place of employment or maybe even from school.
And while those habits may have provided you at that time, you may be discovering they’re now keeping you back from improving your biz.So I want to share 3 highly effective routines you can begin doing right now to grow an effective, profitable business, without making yourself crazy.
Routine 1 — Start your day with a positive, grounding ritual. I don’t know any super-effective entrepreneur who jumps out of bed and instantly checks email. Everybody I know has some sort of ritual — it could be relaxation or journalism or imagining or some inspirational reading. But whatever it is, the point is to start your day strongly and at peace. Then you can check email. Look, I get it if you’re squirming right now. I was a large check my email first thing in the morning too. But for a year now, I’ve rather started my day with meditation and maybe some journalism, and I have to tell you, it’s actually assisted me stay centered and based no matter what goes on around me. I tend to get more done, be less anxious, and be a lot more focused. And you need to do this before you check email and start your day — the moment you jump into your day thinking you’ll get “back” to meditating — it never happens.
Routine 2 — Take the time to plan your day in advance. Now there are lots and lots of resources and techniques out there to help you framework your day, and it really doesn’t issue what system you use, just as long as you do anything. For myself, I take time generally on Friday to plan my week out and at least get the big rocks scheduled. And then each morning I revisit that schedule, and based on what I’ve gotten done, I then plan out what I need to do that day.
I’m definitely no expert at this and I also most-absolutely could have a better program, but the point is it does work for me. Delicious & Simple Lasagna RecipeHow many times have you gone to a friend’s house for dinner and when the entree comes out to the dining room, it is a great-looking lasagna that looks as if someone had spent hours slaving over.
The last time someone checked, it seems like every time and you know that when your friends come over to your home for dinner, they will be predicting something as good. Well, you can have exactly that type of lasagna dinner and all it will take is about 15 minutes to half-an-hour in the late morning and your can relax for the rest of the day.
In fact, this is possibly one of the easiest and best lasagna recipes you are likely to use and, best of all, your friends will think you spent all day making it.
The Basics
Here are the basics you will need to create what is actually a “slow-cooker” masterpiece.
• One pound — 16 ounces — of groundbeef
• 1/2-cup of diced white onion
• 1 teaspoonfull of minced garlic
• 1 24-ounce of spaghetti sauce
• 15 ounces of ricotta cheese
• 2 cups of mozzarella
• 1/4-cup of grated parmesan cheese
• 1 whole egg
• 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons of dried parsley
• 6 uncooked lasagna noodles
Planning the lasagna. Don’t rush
Do not try to rush this process as it works best if you follow directions. Never try to rush things by working on high heat. This recipe works best with a 4 to 6 quart slow cooker.
1. Brown the beef, egg and onion in a large skillet
2. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute than then drain
3. Add the spaghetti sauce and water and simmer for about 5 minutes
4. Mix the ricotta and 1-1/2 cups of mozzarella, 2 tablespoons Parmesan, egg and parsley
5. Pour 1 cup of the spaghetti sauce into a 4 to 6 quart slow cooker
6. Place half the lasagna noodles in the slow cooker. If they do not fit break them to fit
7. Cover the noodles with 2 cups of sauce
8. Top the sauce with the staying noodles. Again, if the noodles do not fit, break them to fit

It’s fine to be single We all seem to walk around with a stigma that we need love or more perfectly, that we need a man. Society has made it a bad thing to be older women who has yet to marry. Or holding out for the right one.
Well I say who is to say that we can not be happy as we are. We were made alone, why we can not be happy and satisfied without that man lying next to us at night. Now you may think that I am an anti-man woman, but I ensure you I am not. What I will say, is by leaving my husband of 8 years, I have grown more as a woman in such short years.
I have learned when I was not running a household, job and tailoring to a man, I had so much more time to do what I wanted. The amount of energy that was put in to special activities that he wouldn’t even remember, I could have easily spent this time enhancing myself.
It has been almost three years and I have dated a few times, but it seems to be more trouble than it is worth. Why does it always feel like you always have to be “On?” I mean ladies think about it, how many times you have talked to your girlfriend’s about one of their men. Over and over again, second task, try one discussion that doesn’t consist of a man and see how much you really have to talk about.

Marriage Faults That Never Change When we think about advice from the Bible, it can be easy to put it down as another time, another viewpoint. We may think of it as good for sheep herders and those not familiar to life in our modern society, however if we look at advice from Peter, Jesus’ key disciple, about marriage, we can be in for a surprise. In 1 Peter 3, Peter gives advice to wives and husbands that could be mistaken as something written by a modern shrink. Here’s what he says:
For wives: Avoid being overly critical, avoid being too much into outward looks
For husbands: Be respectful to your wives, value them as friends
In our modern society, for women the context might be worrying about small things and spending too much on clothes. For men, the context might be being good fans to our wives’ concerns and sharing with our wives. All the same, the value is striking.
What does this mean to you and me?
I would say it’s doubly important to listen to what Peter had to say if we are married or considering marriage. For wives, try to balance negatives regarding your spouse with positives. I belong to a Toastmasters club and we have what is called the “sandwich technique” in giving reviews. We try to say something positive, provide idea for progress and end with saying a positive. Husbands enjoy that type of thing from their wives. Also for wives, discuss your budgets for things like clothes and jewelry with your husband to see what seems right for both of you.
Now for men, I know how easy it is to be self-centered with our interests and hobbies, but we should find time with our wives as well for a balanced strategy. Also, we need to think about what is of interest to our wives and how we can share in those things with them. For example, my wife is in to bird watching which I could care less for. However I have made an attempt to learn more about birds and try to see what she finds thrilling about them. I am in search of love“I am in search of love” is a goal many people express, but few people follow to the end. But rather than harp on the failure cases, I’d like to focus on the people who find results. The people who are so sick of failing that they’re willing to try something a little different. For these people, I suggest the law of interest because you’re in a place to easily see its need and power.
So, what is the law of attraction? Well, it’s the idea the like things attract one another. And more specifically, it’s the idea that what you belief and feel and what you get are identified. In other words, if you’re having problems meeting and dating people, the issues are in the ways that you’re living these encounters.
And while this is a hard cup of tea to swallow at first, it’s actually rather simple because it’s far clearer in relation to dating than anything else in the world because dating literally is about fascination in the purest sense. And I say this for one particular reason: stop wallowing! There are plenty of unhappy people out there that you could make very happy because they’re looking for you right now–and haven’t found you yet.
