Mexican cuisine is almost unknown in Peru. After shifting here, we easily learned how to make corn tortillas, mole, enchiladas and other recipes. But the finest Mexican salsa we’ve ever tried is made by our friend and neighbor, Gloria. Ex-pats from Texas, Joshua and Gloria have a powerful relationship with Mexico. Before meeting her we believed that making home made salsa, or picante sauce, would be too challenging and time-taking.
